The Trovy HELOC credit card is a credit card linked to a
home equity line of credit (HELOC). It allows homeowners to
tap into their home equity and make purchases just like with
a traditional credit card—while benefiting from the lower
interest rates of a HELOC.
This estimator is for illustration only. It is not an application, an offer of credit, or a commitment to lend. Estimates use only the figures you enter and Trovy's pricing as of 10/26/2026. They assume the property is your primary residence. Rates are shown with AutoPay, which lowers your APR by 0.25%, unless you turn it off. To size your line, your monthly debts plus a payment on the full line, amortized over 30 years at your estimated rate, may not exceed 45% of your income. Your actual credit line, APRs, and eligibility depend on your verified income, your full credit report, an automated valuation of your home, title and lien review, property use, and other factors, and may differ from this estimate. Variable APRs may change with the Prime Rate. Fixed APRs are set when you take each draw. 15- and 30-year terms become available 3 days after all signers complete signing at the notary.
-
Initial Annual Percentage Rates (APRs) range from 6.49% to 15.24% for variable rate balances from card purchases,
and from 6.49% to 15.74% for Fixed Rate Draws, as of 09/22/2026. Both ranges reflect a 0.25% autopay discount.
The lowest rates are only available to the most qualified applicants; rates will be higher for others. The APR on
variable rate balances may increase or decrease over time based on changes in the highest domestic Prime Rate
published in the Money Rates section of the Wall Street Journal (the index) plus the applicable margin. The APR on
a Fixed Rate Draw is set when the draw is made and will not change for the life of that draw. No APR on your
account will exceed the lesser of 18% or the maximum rate permitted by applicable state law at any time during the
life of the account. As a representative example, a borrower with a 60% combined loan-to-value ratio (CLTV) and a
740 credit score would qualify for an initial APR of 9.39%. Your actual rate will depend on many factors such as
your credit profile, debt-to-income ratio, CLTV, and property usage.
Rates change frequently so your exact initial APR will depend on the date you apply. APRs for home equity lines of
credit do not include costs other than interest. Property insurance may be required as a condition of the loan
depending on lien status and whether the property is located in a flood zone. Available credit lines range from a
minimum of $25,000 up to a maximum of $250,000. A minimum credit score of 680 is required for credit lines above
$50,000, and 660 for third liens. The minimum credit line for HELOCs on Wisconsin properties is
$25,500. Your maximum credit line may be lower than $250,000 and will ultimately depend on your
property's value, lien position, credit profile, income, and equity available at the time of application. Property
value and resulting equity are determined through independent data sources and automated valuation models.

Apply in as fast as 4 minutes with our 100% online application. Approval may be granted in as fast as 4 minutes assuming income verification is completed through our automated verification procedures. You can receive access to your funds for a balance transfer or cash advance, and use your virtual card, in as few as four days, or faster for properties that are not subject to a rescission period. Four business day funding timeline assumes closing the loan with our remote online notary. Funding timelines may be longer for loans secured by properties located in counties that do not permit recording of e-signatures or that otherwise require an in-person closing.
-
All savings estimates are illustrative. The estimated savings figure is
based on a comparison between (1) the estimated monthly interest paid
using the maximum credit limit and the lowest initial APR shown above, and (2) an
estimated monthly interest paid for a typical credit card using the same credit limit and an average
credit card APR of 22.25% (per NerdWallet, as of
10/09/2025). Actual savings may vary and could be lower. The
APR on the Trovy HELOC credit card is variable and may change over time,
affecting both interest costs and monthly payment amounts.
-
There is no lender fee due at closing for loan sizes of $100,000 or less that do not include an upfront draw.
You are responsible for mortgage recording taxes
in states that impose taxes, and the amount Trovy pays on your behalf will be added to your loan balance.
Taxes are up to 0.55% of the loan amount and are disclosed in your HELOC Agreement at closing. You will be
required to reimburse Trovy for standard recording and government fees and charges of up to $800 (dependent
on property location), and, if a mobile notary is required, $140 in mobile notary fees ($375 in Georgia and
Massachusetts due to an attorney closing requirement). Trovy charges a draw fee on balance transfers and cash advances of up to 2.99%
per draw, subject to a cap of 5% over the life of the loan. There is no draw fee on Trovy HELOC credit card purchases.
-
To check the rates and terms you qualify for, we will conduct a soft
credit pull which will not affect your credit score. However, if you
continue and submit an application, we will request your full credit
report from one or more consumer reporting agencies, which is considered
a hard credit pull and may affect your credit.
-
A Trovy HELOC is secured with your home as collateral, whereas personal
loans and credit cards are not.
-
You should consult a tax advisor regarding the deductibility of interest
and charges to your Trovy HELOC credit card.
-
Remote online notaries are available in most states. A mobile notary will be required
in certain states and counties that do not accept remote online notarizations. Your notary session is free and fully online.
-
All savings estimates are illustrative. The 50% savings estimate is based on a comparison between 1) balance refi
amounts and APRs for actual Trovy customers and 2) the estimated annual interest that would be paid on the same
amounts using average personal loan and credit card APRs (14.48% and 23.77% respectively). Actual savings may vary
and could be lower. The APR on the Trovy HELOC credit card is variable and may change over time, affecting both interest
costs and monthly payment amount. A Trovy HELOC is secured with your home as collateral, whereas personal loans
and credit cards are not.
-
Cash back is earned as points (1 point per $1 spent; 2 points per $1 spent on Home Categories) and redeemed as a statement credit at a value of 1 cent per point.
-
No upfront draw required for loan sizes of $100,000 or less. An upfront draw in the form of a cash out or balance transfer
or both is required for any credit line amount in excess of $100,000.
-
With Trovy FixedPay, you can convert all or a portion of your credit card balance to a fixed rate, at a repayment term of your choosing. Your fixed APR is determined by adding from 0% to 1.50% to your variable APR, with higher spreads for longer terms.
-
Initial draw period of 5 years. Renewal for up to three additional 5-year periods, for a total draw period of up to 20 years, is at Trovy's discretion and is not guaranteed. Investment properties have a 5-year draw period and a 15-year term.
- Compares your estimated variable APR with an average credit card APR of 22.25% (per NerdWallet, as of 10/09/2025). Credit cards are unsecured; a Trovy HELOC is secured by your home.
- Example scenarios. Names, quotes and figures are illustrative and do not describe actual customers. Each estimate uses the example's answers and the same method as the estimator on this page, including its assumptions of a primary residence and AutoPay. Your estimate and your actual credit line and APR will differ. A Trovy HELOC is secured by your home.
